DORADA

Dorada is a variety of soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) with a mid-early maturity period, characterized by a vegetative period ranging from 75 to 84 days. The plant is medium-height, highly resistant to lodging, with an erect culm and long straw. The ear is pyramidal in shape with medium density, white in color, with awn-like appendages of medium length. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 37 to 42 grams, indicating good kernel development, coloring, and excellent baking qualities. The variety is distinguished by good drought resistance comparable to the Altayskaya 70 variety and is recommended for cultivation in regions with similar climatic conditions. The wax coating on the ear is weak or medium, while on the flag leaf sheath it is strong, which helps protect the plant from adverse environmental factors. The straw is weakly developed, which together with high resistance to lodging ensures crop stability. The average yield of the Dorada variety in the region is about 34.0 centners per hectare, making it attractive for agricultural production. Thanks to its characteristics, this variety is suitable for cultivation in the central region and provides high-quality grain suitable for baking production.
