RADICAL

RADICAL — this is a simple two-row corn hybrid (Zea mays L.) intended for grain and silage production. It belongs to early-maturing varieties with a vegetative period of about 100–113 days depending on the region. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the Central Volga and Lower Volga regions, as well as in the Saratov region. Plant height varies from 174 to 224 cm, ensuring good productivity and resistance to adverse conditions. RADICAL demonstrates high grain yield — from 2.16 to 3.02 tons per hectare at 14% moisture. Dry matter content in the grain reaches 34.4%, protein content is 10.7–12.4%. Starch in the grain is within 69–73%, making the hybrid valuable for grain and silage production. Average grain yield in the region is about 77 c/ha, confirming its stability and efficiency under agronomic conditions. The hybrid exhibits good drought and heat resistance, exceeding average indicators, as well as resistance to most corn diseases. RADICAL is characterized by high commercial mass output and good quality indicators for transport and storage. Ears have a cylindrical shape with white-yellow-purple kernels, length exceeding 24 cm, and sugar content in the grain exceeding 25%, making it suitable for fresh consumption and marketing.
