Winter wheat variety 'Brión' is an intensive variety with a high yield potential, reaching 10-11 tons per hectare. This variety is medium-early and has a vegetation period of about 277 days. Stem height is approximately 80 cm, and spike length is about 11 cm. The 1000-grain weight varies from 41 to 56 grams, with grain density reaching 810 g/l. A key feature of this variety is its high protein content (13.8-14.0%) and gluten content (26.0-28.0%), ensuring good baking qualities. Variety 'Brión' is characterized by high resistance to various pathogens and pests, including powdery mildew, rust (brown and yellow), septoria leaf blotch, and lodging. Resistance level on the scale reaches 8.3-9.0 points, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones. Additionally, the variety shows good drought resistance, lodging resistance, and winter hardiness, contributing to stable yields under various climatic conditions. Recommended seeding rate is 4.0-5.0 million seeds per hectare depending on conditions and region of cultivation. The variety is well-suited for crop rotations with predecessors such as peas, soybean, buckwheat, and early corn. However, planting after sunflower is not recommended.
