Belya wheat is a soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) of medium maturity type, intended for cultivation in the North Forest-Steppe zone of the foothills of the Novosibirsk region. This variety is characterized by medium drought resistance and resistance to lodging, which ensures stable yield under unfavorable conditions. The mass of 1000 grains is 34-38 grams, indicating good grain quality. However, the variety is susceptible to certain diseases, such as powdery bunt and septoria, and is highly susceptible to brown rust and powdery mildew, which requires careful agronomic care and plant protection.

The seeds of the Belya variety were obtained by intraspecific hybridization followed by double individual selection, which ensures high genetic stability and quality. The variety is characterized by white heads with awned awns, high yield, and good frost resistance. It is recommended for cultivation on a high agrobackground with a sowing rate of 4.5-5.0 million viable seeds per hectare, which contributes to maximum utilization of plant potential and obtaining high yields.
