Description APASOVKA
APASOVKA is a wheat variety presented as both winter and spring varieties with different characteristics. The winter wheat variety Shesopalovka is characterized by early ripening, maturing in 278–288 days, and high yield reaching 65.5 c/ha in the Forest-Steppe zone. This variety has high winter hardiness, is resistant to lodging, shattering, and drought, making it a reliable choice for growing in various climatic conditions. The grain is characterized by a 1000-grain weight of 42.6–44.1 g, high protein content (14.2–14.3%), and gluten content (29.4–30.5%), ensuring good baking qualities and high bread volume.

Spring wheat variety APASOVKA belongs to medium-late varieties with a vegetation period of 85-99 days and is recommended for cultivation in the Western Siberia region, specifically in the Altai foothills. The plant is medium-sized with a semi-erect bush and a pyramidal ear of medium density. The 1000-grain weight varies from 31 to 44 g. The variety is resistant to lodging and has moderate resistance to powdery bunt, but is susceptible to brown rust, hard bunt, septoria, powdery mildew, and root rots. Yield in the region is on average 22.9 c/ha, with maximum indicators up to 59.4 c/ha.

The APASOVKA variety was bred through individual selection and crossing several varieties, which allowed obtaining an ultra-early maturing variety with large and high-quality red grain weighing 45-50 g per 1000 seeds. Plants reach a height of 85-90 cm and have high winter hardiness comparable to the "Orynburskaya-14" variety. The variety is resistant to soil and air drought, and also has complex resistance to ear diseases, including fusarium. Thanks to these qualities, APASOVKA can be sown in February windows and is suitable for growing in various conditions, ensuring high yield and grain quality.
