Description AMBER 50
Amber 50 is a variety of soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) with a medium-early maturity period and lodging resistance. The plant is characterized by medium height and a semi-dwarf type, which facilitates cultivation and reduces the risk of damage from adverse weather conditions. The vegetative period of the variety ranges from 226 to 319 days depending on the region and growing conditions, allowing it to be adapted to various climatic zones, including the North Caucasus region and the Rostov region. The mass of 1000 grains is between 34 and 55 grams, indicating a sufficiently large and high-quality grain. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to major diseases such as brown rust, powdery bunt, yellow rust, and powdery mildew, and possesses good winter hardiness and drought resistance. Thanks to these qualities, as well as high germination and seed uniformity, Amber 50 ensures stable and high yield, reaching up to 117 centners per hectare in intensive technologies. In addition, the variety demonstrates high productivity due to a large number of productive stems per square meter and resistance to grain shedding. Amber 50 is intended primarily for baking use, which is confirmed by the high protein content (up to 15%) and raw gluten content (up to 34.7%) in the grain. These indicators ensure the production of high-quality flour with good baking properties. The variety is characterized by low cultivation costs due to resistance to most diseases, which reduces the need to apply expensive chemical protection agents. All these characteristics make Amber 50 an attractive choice for farmers seeking to obtain high-quality and economically profitable wheat harvest.
