Wheat DONUS GIFT

DONUS GIFT is a soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) variety designed for cultivation in the North Caucasus region and the Rostov region. It is a medium-early semi-dwarf variety with a vegetative period of 226 to 298 days, characterized by short stature and resistance to lodging. Plant height ranges from 52 to 83 cm, which facilitates harvesting and reduces crop losses.

The variety is distinguished by high drought resistance and winter hardiness, which is at or above average. The weight of 1000 grains ranges from 36 to 51 grams, indicating the large size and quality of the grain. DONUS GIFT is resistant to brown rust, weakly susceptible to stiff and powdery bunt, moderately susceptible to spike septoria, and susceptible to powdery mildew. These characteristics ensure crop stability and minimize losses from diseases.

The variety's yield is high: average indicators for the region reach 34.5–38.3 centners per hectare, while maximum values can exceed 70 centners per hectare. The grain of the variety has good and excellent baking qualities, making it ideal for flour and bread production. Thanks to the combination of high productivity, resistance to adverse conditions, and grain quality, DONUS GIFT is a reliable choice for agricultural producers in the respective regions.
