Vegetable Pea YEVGESHA

High-Quality Large-Seeded Vegetable Pea

The 'Evgesha' vegetable pea variety is a result of selective breeding by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing (Russia), specifically designed for producers prioritizing grain quality and yield stability. Developed by experts Nadezhda Belonosova and Natalia Svidovskaya, this variety fills a specific niche for those who value predictable crop development over risky ultra-early maturation.

Key Advantages and Technical Profile

With a vegetation period of 70–80 days, 'Evgesha' fits perfectly into a balanced farming schedule. Its primary differentiator is its large-seeded nature, which significantly improves both visual appeal and culinary quality, making it a reliable choice for fresh market supplies and small-scale processing.

• Uniformity: Being a stable variety rather than an experimental hybrid, 'Evgesha' offers consistent performance across different seasons.
• Grain Size: The large-seeded trait is its hallmark, ensuring that each pod yields substantial, high-quality peas.
• Proven Genetics: Developed by a leading national research center, ensuring strong varietal purity.

This variety is ideal for growers who seek a reliable, mid-maturing option that resists the unpredictability often found in less-tested hybrids. While it may not be the fastest to harvest, it compensates with a robust plant structure and heavy, well-filled pods that consistently meet market demands for quality produce.
