Vegetable Pea Galop

Stable yields in a tight timeframe

The «Galop» pea variety from Agroplazma is tailored for growers who prioritize predictability. The key feature of this vegetable pea is an intensive growing season, lasting only 55–65 days. For farmers, this translates to the ability to plan conveyor deliveries without fearing maturity delays.

Defense against major threats

One of the primary challenges in legume cultivation is susceptibility to fungal diseases. «Galop» stands out from many alternatives due to its genetically ingrained resistance to Fusarium wilt. This significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicidal applications, allowing for a more environmentally friendly product. The variety also shows high resistance to powdery mildew, which is critical in regions with high humidity or fluctuating temperatures that typically trigger pathogen development.

Who is this variety for?

• For fresh-market growers: rapid maturation allows for early arrival at the market.
• For processing companies: uniform ripening facilitates mechanized harvesting.
• For farmers looking to minimize chemical inputs in their soil and plants.

The strength of «Galop» lies in its field reliability. While other varieties might succumb to Fusarium, this hybrid maintains its productivity. One detail to consider: to unlock its full yield potential, quality irrigation during the flowering phase is essential, as the rapid growth rate requires consistent nutrient intake.
