Vegetable Pea LARANGO

LARANGO is an early vegetable pea variety, intended for cultivation in open ground and under temporary cover. The vegetative period is 65-70 days, which allows for a harvest in a short time. This variety is suitable for use on fresh markets, as well as for canning and freezing, making it versatile in application.

The plant is powerful and erect, reaching a height of about 70 cm. The fruits are large dark green peas, forming 7 grains per pod. On one node, 2 pods about 9 cm long are formed, which contributes to high yield. The mass of 1000 seeds is approximately 120 grams. The leaf type of pea is standard, with good grain uniformity and an attractive appearance.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to powdery mildew and fusarium (Fop: 1/Ep), and also shows excellent stress resistance to hot and dry conditions.
