CRICKET

The 'Cricket' vegetable pea variety is an early-maturing variety with a period from germination to technical maturity of 49-57 days. The plants reach a height of 75-80 cm and are characterized by simultaneous bean ripening. The beans are slightly curved, of medium width, 7-9 cm long, and green in color. Each bean contains 9-10 peas, which are uniform in size, have a bright green color, and a very sweet taste, making them particularly attractive for fresh consumption.



The 'Cricket' variety is distinguished by high yield and simultaneous crop formation, ensuring a stable harvest of green peas with a yield of about 0.5 kg per square meter. Peas are intended for various uses: they can be consumed fresh, used in home cooking, as well as canned and frozen, while maintaining excellent taste qualities.



For successful cultivation, it is recommended to soak seeds in water until swelling before sowing, planting them in open ground to a depth of 4-6 cm. Sowing can be done multiple times from the end of April to the end of June with a weekly interval. Plants require timely watering, weeding, and soil loosening, which promotes their full development and formation of a quality crop.
