CHILD'S DELIGHT

Child's Delight is an early sugar variety of green peas, distinguished by a short growing season of 50 to 70 days depending on growing conditions. The plants are compact, reaching a height of 60 to 80 cm, with sturdy stems that develop up to 14 pods of dark green color, each 5-8 cm long. Each pod contains 6 to 9 peas of medium or large size, possessing a sweet and tender taste, which is especially liked by children. The variety is valued for its high yield and excellent taste qualities.

One of the important features of the variety is the absence of a parchment layer in the pods, which allows consuming peas with the pods in fresh form. This makes the variety universal for various applications: fresh consumption, freezing, and canning. Due to its unpretentiousness and resistance to diseases, as well as good adaptation to weather conditions, the variety is suitable for growing in different regions.

The variety "Child's Delight" is recommended for conveyor harvest production with 2-3 sowing intervals at 10-15 day gaps, ensuring a steady supply of fresh product. The plant is rich in vitamins, making it useful for both children's and adult nutrition. Pre-sowing seed treatment promotes good germination and plant development, which additionally increases yield and product quality.
