Symphony is a mid-season dill variety intended for cultivation as both greens and for spice production. The vegetative period is 40-45 days from the mass emergence of seedlings to harvest. The plant is characterized by strong foliage and a semi-erect medium-sized leaf rosette. The leaves are a rich green color, juicy and very aromatic, making them versatile for use fresh, as well as for drying and freezing.
The mass of one plant when harvested for greens is 25-30 grams. The yield of green mass reaches 2.5-3.5 kg per square meter, and for spices — 3.5-4.8 kg per square meter. Cut greens retain freshness and all useful properties for a long time, which allows dill to be used in fresh dishes such as salads, side dishes, and soups, as well as in preparations for seasonings and winter storage.
For sowing, it is recommended to use loamy or light loam, well-cultivated and neutral in acidity soils. Sowing is carried out under winter or spring with multiple spring-summer sowings with an interval of 10-12 days. The depth of seed burial is 1-2 cm, which contributes to good germination and plant development.
