Description TURCUS
The 'Turcus' dill variety is an early-maturing annual plant known for its high yield and strong aroma. Plants reach heights of up to 150 cm and feature dense, dark green foliage with a waxy coating, giving them a decorative appearance. The leaves are large, ranging from 12 to 20 cm in length, deeply divided, and highly aromatic. This variety is distinguished by its disease resistance and low-maintenance care, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest of greens and spices.

"Turcus" grows well both in open ground and in protected conditions, including greenhouses, and can also be cultivated in pots, boxes, and containers on balconies or in the kitchen. The plant prefers sunny areas with permeable, well-cultivated, and light soils. To obtain fresh greens, sowing is recommended every two weeks from March to September, including winter sowing for early sprouts. Dill tolerates high temperatures and water deficit well, although regular watering is required for optimal growth.

The "Turcus" variety is versatile in use: its greens are suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, drying, and mature plants with umbels are excellent as a seasoning for pickles and marinades. The yield ranges from 2.2 to 2.8 kg of greens per square meter and up to 3.5 kg of spices. Due to its taste qualities and aroma, this dill is one of the popular choices for cultivation both in home conditions and in garden plots.
