Ukrainian fennel variety PAVLIN is a late-maturing, high-yielding bush variety with a bouquet bush form and strong growth. The leaves of the plant are strongly segmented, covered with a waxy coating, which gives them a dark green color and a rich aroma. The plant is medium-sized, forms a compact rosette with a pronounced anthocyanin coloration, which makes it not only useful but also a decorative element in vegetable compositions.
The variety is distinguished by high leafiness and excellent yield, forming bushes weighing from 200 to 400 grams with a large number of side shoots, which are easily snapped off. Due to late stem formation and rich taste, dill PAVLIN is versatile in use: it is suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, drying, canning, as well as for preparing salads and boiled dishes. In addition, the variety has medicinal properties.
Sowing of seeds is recommended in open ground from April to August, as well as winter sowing is possible. Seeds are sown in rows at a depth of 0.5 cm with a distance between rows of 10 cm, while the sowing should not be overcrowded. The optimal temperature for seed germination is 20-25 degrees, and the germination period lasts 10-14 days. The variety is suitable for cultivation both in open and closed ground, which makes it universal and convenient for various cultivation conditions.
