HANAK is a medium-early dill variety, distinguished by its short vegetation period and high yield. From emergence to harvesting for greenery takes 35 to 53 days, and for spices 56 to 99 days. The plant forms a large semi-spreading rosette with bright green, tender, juicy, and highly aromatic leaves. Bush height reaches about 20 centimeters within 30 days, ensuring excellent market appearance and ease of harvest collection. Dill possesses good immunity to diseases, contributing to a stable and high-quality harvest. The HANAK variety is suitable for cultivation both in open and protected ground. It prefers fertile, moistened areas and light-loving conditions. Seeds are sown on prepared soil without incorporation, with mandatory peat mulching of 2-3 cm to retain moisture. Plant care includes loosening rows, regular watering, and fertilization. For obtaining earlier greens, sowing in autumn is recommended during the second decade of October. High yield reaches 2.5-3 kg per square meter. Dill HANAK is valued for its high content of aromatic substances and phytoncides, which not only impart a rich aroma to greens but also protect vegetables during pickling from mold. Thanks to these properties, it is widely used both for fresh consumption and industrial processing. The variety is produced in the Czech Republic by Semo, guaranteeing high seed quality and stability of characteristics.
