Description Salyut
Dill bush variety «Salyut» is a late-maturing variety with a growing period of about 50-60 days, which allows harvesting the first green crop 35-56 days after germination. The plant forms a compact, densely leafy bush 40 to 55 cm high with large dark green leaves, sometimes with a grayish-blue tint. The leaves are strongly lobed, 12-16 cm long, and possess a rich pleasant aroma due to high essential oil content. A feature of the variety is delayed flower stalk formation and almost complete lack of leaf yellowing, which contributes to prolonged freshness preservation after cutting.

Variety «Salyut» is characterized by high yield — from 3.2 to 4.7 kg per square meter, making it one of the best options for growing in open ground, greenhouses, gardens, and even at home on a windowsill. Due to the ability to quickly recover after cutting, dill can be harvested several times without the need for reseeding. This is especially convenient for continuously supplying fresh greens for almost three months until the plant begins to produce flower stalks.

Dill «Salyut» is widely used for fresh consumption, and is also suitable for drying and pickling. Its excellent taste qualities and resistance to main diseases of umbelliferous crops make this variety a universal and reliable choice for preparing seasonings, salads, soups, and other dishes. Compact bushes with lace-like leaves are not only functional but also aesthetically decorate the kitchen space, providing fresh greens always at hand.
