Tulip Spalding

The Elegance of Triumph Tulips

The Spalding tulip is a staple in the mid-season Triumph class, favored by professional growers who demand both visual appeal and agricultural reliability. Its breeding lineage ensures strong resistance to common fungal pathogens, such as Fusarium, Septoria, and powdery mildew, which significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications.

Cultivation Performance

Spalding exhibits consistent growth patterns, making it highly adaptable to temperate climates. Its moderate stem height makes it a versatile choice, performing equally well in open field landscaping and commercial greenhouse forcing. The delicate pink petals are noted for their high light fastness, maintaining vibrant coloration even under intense spring sunshine.
