Tulip Grand Style

Stability and Reliability in Late-Season Production

«Grand Stle» is classified as a Single Late tulip, providing growers with a predictable and consistent high-quality output toward the end of the season. The primary commercial value of this variety lies in its robust genetic resistance to Peronospora, Phomopsis, and Phoma. For an operator, this translates directly into reduced spending on fungicide treatments and a significantly lower risk of crop failure, even in less-than-ideal soil conditions.

Operational Performance and Cultivation

• Blooming Schedule: Late-blooming, which extends the sales cycle well after earlier varieties have been cleared from the market.
• Plant Structure: Tall stems make harvesting efficient and provide an ideal presentation for high-end floral arrangements.
• Appearance: The petals feature a classic pink hue that remains in constant demand among professional florists.

Maintenance of these plantings is straightforward, yet the natural resilience against the aforementioned fungal diseases allows for a less aggressive chemical management strategy. The variety shows excellent vigor when crop rotation protocols and proper bulb storage temperatures are maintained. Its resistance to Phoma makes it a particularly strong candidate for cultivation in regions prone to excess soil moisture, where other varieties would typically suffer from early-stage bulb rot.
