Tulip Golden Tango

Managing 'Golden Tango' in Commercial Production

For a professional grower, the 'Golden Tango' tulip (Greigii type) is synonymous with operational stability. Its predictable development cycle allows for precise scheduling of harvesting, ensuring market availability exactly when required. The standout operational advantage is its robust natural resistance, which significantly lowers the labor and financial costs associated with crop protection.

Performance and Maintenance

• Disease Resistance: Exceptional resilience against verticillium wilt, fusarium wilt, and cladosporium. This feature drastically reduces the frequency and intensity of fungicide applications.
• Viral Immunity: Demonstrates strong resistance to tomato mosaic virus, safeguarding the crop against common viral threats.
• Operational Ease: With a medium growth habit, 'Golden Tango' is straightforward to handle. The stems are robust, simplifying the cutting process and eliminating the need for complex support structures.

In practice, the variety is highly reliable. The vibrant yellow petals maintain their color intensity throughout the flowering period, ensuring high aesthetic appeal and marketability. The maintenance routine is standard, fitting seamlessly into any existing greenhouse or field management schedule. 'Golden Tango' represents a low-maintenance, high-yield asset for any commercial florist or bulb producer, balancing aesthetic beauty with commercial endurance.
