Tulip Goltu

A Focus on Resilience and Aesthetics

The Golt tulip is a prime choice for growers who prioritize predictability and ease of maintenance. As a lily-flowered variety, it offers a sophisticated aesthetic, but its real value lies in its genetic resistance to common pathogens, including alternaria, fusarium, cladosporium, and tomato mosaic virus.

Operational Insights

• Compact Growth Profile: Being a low-growing variety, it is perfectly suited for foreground planting in mixed borders or container arrangements. Its robust, low-profile stem means it can withstand windy conditions without the need for staking or mechanical support.
• Flowering Cycle: With a mid-season bloom, Golt fits seamlessly into any planting schedule, acting as a reliable bridge between early and late varieties. The soft cream petals offer a versatile, high-end look that complements almost any garden color scheme.
• Maintenance and Health: The primary advantage for the operator is the drastically reduced need for intensive fungicide spraying. Its natural immunity to virus and fungal outbreaks means lower input costs and less time spent on chemical management.

Managing Golt is straightforward. The plants respond well to standard fertilization schedules and do not require specialized growth regulators. Because of its sturdy structure and disease resistance, the time required for inspection and restorative maintenance is minimal. If you are looking for a variety that provides a high-quality display with a low-stress operational burden, this lily-flowered tulip is an efficient, high-performance asset.
