Tulip Royal Ad Rem

The Benchmark of Darwin Hybrid Durability

Royal Ad Rem remains a cornerstone of the Darwin Hybrid class, long established as a market favorite for both professional cut flower production and landscape landscaping. This variety represents the pinnacle of selection, balancing aesthetic appeal with biological robustness.

Phenotypic Performance

The plant is defined by its tall, sturdy stem, making it a reliable choice for professional environments. The bloom is particularly noted for its deep red petals with distinct lilac undertones, creating a high-impact visual profile that holds its own in any spring display. Its classification as a mid-season bloomer allows it to fit seamlessly into any professional flowering schedule.

Agronomic Advantages:

• Superior Disease Resistance: Built-in genetic resistance to Alternaria, Verticillium wilt, and Fusarium significantly reduces the need for heavy fungicide programs.
• Growth Stability: The variety exhibits high vigor, ensuring a high percentage of premium marketable stems.
• Market Reliability: Due to its proven track record in various climate conditions, it is considered one of the most low-maintenance options for large-scale operations.

For modern growers, Royal Ad Rem is essentially the definition of predictability. It is widely selected by farms that prioritize ROI, as it does not require specialized or extreme care protocols and performs consistently well across diverse soil types. By maintaining high yields even in challenging spring conditions, this variety remains a top-tier choice for those who cannot afford the risks associated with more fragile, modern hybrids.
