Rivolt triticale is a promising crop with several competitive advantages and adapted to the conditions of the Forest-Steppe and Polissia regions of Ukraine. Between 2020 and 2022, climatic conditions in these regions were characterized as relatively humid, creating favorable conditions for growing triticale. Studies showed that triticale varieties, including Rivolt, demonstrate good adaptability and stable yields under variable weather conditions, which is especially important under global warming.
The average yield of the Rivolt variety over three years ranged from 3.0 to 9.6 tons per hectare, indicating its high productivity. In particular, the Rivolt variety has a protein content in grain at the level of 7.5%, which is an important indicator of raw material quality for further use. High homeostasis and selection value of the variety ensure resistance to adverse environmental factors and stability of yield indicators.
Thus, Rivolt triticale is a reliable choice for agricultural producers aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality harvest in the Forest-Steppe and Polissia regions. Its adaptive properties and high productivity make this variety attractive for cultivation under modern climatic conditions, contributing to efficient land use and increased economic returns.
