Triticale Kharkivskiy Korovay

Field Performance and Operational Reliability

For farm managers looking for predictable results, 'Korovay Kharkivskyi' stands out as a reliable spring triticale variety developed by the V. Ya. Yuriev Plant Production Institute. With a height of 110–120 cm, the plants demonstrate excellent lodging resistance. For the harvest operator, this translates into smooth combine harvester performance, allowing for consistent ground speed and minimal grain loss during the harvesting phase.

Optimizing Protection Costs

Field maintenance is significantly streamlined with this variety due to its inherent resistance profile. By choosing a variety that is naturally resilient to common pathogens, you reduce the necessity for frequent fungicide applications. This variety shows proven resistance to:

• Powder Mildew;
• Wheat Brown Rust;
• Bunt (Covered Smut);
• Septoria;
• Fusarium.

Reducing the number of spray passes across the field directly impacts your bottom line. Less machinery operation means lower fuel consumption, reduced soil compaction, and extended service intervals for your application equipment.

Ease of Management

The 'Korovay Kharkivskyi' variety is well-suited for intensive agricultural systems. Its uniform growth habit facilitates harvesting, preventing downtime caused by inconsistent crop maturity or header height adjustments. The combination of structural stability and disease resistance makes this triticale an low-maintenance asset for any operation. Whether you are managing large acreage or smaller plots, this variety provides the stability needed to optimize your operational schedule and ensure a clean harvest without excessive chemical intervention.
