Tradescantia Anderson 'Anuta' – a perennial shrub up to 60 cm tall with dense long lance-shaped leaves of a rich green color. The plant is distinguished by bright, ruffled white petals and can bloom almost throughout the summer season: from the end of May to the beginning of September. Flowers can also be blue, pink, or blue, but most often they remain light white.
'Anuta' is easy to grow on medium, dry, and well-drained soil, preferring full sun to partial shade. It tolerates semi-shaded areas, although flowering may be less abundant. The plant likes moist, acidic sandy soils; when groups become overfilled, they should be divided and, if necessary, pruned back to 6-12 inches in mid-summer to stimulate new growth and possible fall flowering.
Care for 'Anuta' does not require special efforts: it is important to ensure good drainage and moderate watering. The plant withstands frost well and is suitable for growing in open ground, which makes it a popular choice among garden varieties.
