KRIMCHANIN

Nectarine «Krimchanin» – a mid-season variety that typically starts bearing fruit in the third year after planting. The tree is compact and medium-sized, reaching a height of about three meters, has a round canopy and is well-adapted to sunny, wind-protected areas with fertile soils.

The fruits of this variety are large, weighing from 150 to 190 grams, and round in shape. The skin is smooth, hairless, of medium density and thickness, bright yellow with a blurred red blush covering most of the surface. The flesh is juicy, aromatic, yellow-colored, tender-fibrous, medium density, giving the fruit a harmonious sweet-sour taste. The pit separates easily from the flesh.

«Krimchanin» is characterized by high yield – up to 40–50 kilograms of fruit can be collected from one tree. The variety is drought-resistant and has moderate winter hardiness, which makes it convenient for growing in various climatic conditions. The fruits are well transported thanks to the dense flesh and sturdy skin. They are suitable for both fresh consumption and making compotes, juices, jams, and candied fruits.
