Description VOGULKA
The "Vogulka" variety represents a new type of bog cranberry, developed by Russian breeders Galina and Valery Makeev together with Sergey Makarov. Its originators are the State Unitary Enterprise "All-Russian Research Institute of Forestry and Forestry Mechanization" (FBU VNIILM) and the innovation company-tenant of the High Technology Technopark, LLC "Yagody Yugri". The variety has been granted patent status, confirming its uniqueness and protection from copying.

"Vogulka" is based on wild bog cranberries from the experimental farm "Yurtas Chaynikovykh" in the Khanty-Mansiysky district. Thanks to breeding efforts, the berry has retained all the beneficial properties of wild cranberries and acquired increased endurance: resistance to frost, diseases, and pests. This makes it attractive both for consumers and food producers.

The variety has been successfully adapted to a wide range of climatic zones – from the North to the Far East of Russia, including the Urals, West Siberia, and East Siberia. Such a geographical range indicates the high flexibility of "Vogulka" in various soil and climatic conditions. Moreover, the berries ripen gradually, which allows using the same working tools and machinery throughout the production cycle, increasing economic efficiency.

Thus, "Vogulka" combines the natural properties of wild cranberries with improved agrotechnical characteristics, ensuring sustainable production of high-quality berries for the food industry and consumer market.
