The KIPARG variety is an early table nectarine with excellent taste and technological properties. The tree is of medium height, fast-growing, and has a pyramidal crown of medium density, ensuring good ventilation and light access to the fruits.
Leaves are large, narrow, elongated, tapering, bright green, smooth and glossy. Flowers are double, large, bell-shaped, pink, with five touching petals, which promotes good pollination.
Fruits are large (average weight about 100 g), round, uniform and juicy. Main coloration – yellow, covering part of red blurred color without subcutaneous dots. Skin is of medium coarseness, smooth, without waxy bloom; flesh is yellow, juicy, fibrous with a slight anthocyanin coloration under the skin and near the stone. Taste is sweet, rated 4.3 points by tasting.
Peduncle is short, thick, well separated from the branch and firmly attached to the stone. Stone is of medium size, oval, pointed, with characteristic pits and grooves, easily separates from the flesh.
The variety is distinguished by high heat tolerance and drought resistance, while susceptibility to diseases is weak. Yield is approximately 250 c/ha. Fruits contain about 16.4% dry matter, 14% sugar, 0.38% acid, and 9 mg of vitamin C per 100 g of product.
