RED SEAL

Tomato Red Seal is a mid-season, high-yielding variety that is ideal for cultivation in both plastic greenhouses and open ground. The plant is semi-determinate, low-branched, reaching a height of 140-160 cm and requires mandatory support on stakes, as well as training into a single stem with regular pinching of suckers. This variety is distinguished by good resistance to diseases and adaptability to various climatic conditions, making it suitable for both home and commercial cultivation.

The fruits of Tomato Red Seal have a bright red color and an attractive heart-shaped form with a characteristic nipple. They are large, weighing from 150 to 250 grams, low-seeded, juicy and succulent. The flavor is sweet with a slight acidity and a delicate aroma, making them ideal for fresh consumption as well as for making thick sauces. The fruiting period is prolonged, allowing harvest from July to August.

Cultivation begins with sowing seeds for seedlings in early March, followed by transplanting when the first true leaves appear. Seedlings are transplanted into greenhouses or open ground at the end of May to early June, at a spacing of 40x60 cm; under warm weather, transplanting may be done at the end of April. The plant requires adequate light and regular watering for full development and high yield. Seeds retain viability for up to 10 years under proper storage conditions.
