SLEEPING GIANT

Tomato Sleeping Giant is a tall mid-late variety, reaching up to 180-200 cm in height. The plant is suitable for cultivation both in plastic greenhouses and in open ground, with mandatory support stakes. For bush formation, it is recommended to leave 1-2 stems, removing suckers, which promotes better growth and yield. Sowing for seedlings is done in March, and transplanting into greenhouses occurs at the end of April or beginning of May, when seedlings are 40-45 days old.

The fruits of Tomato Sleeping Giant have a round-heart shape and a raspberry-red color. Each fruit weighs between 300 to 600 grams, making them quite large. The flesh is dense, juicy, and sweet, with a distinct tomato aroma and "watermelon" texture. Due to their flavor qualities, the fruits are ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for making salads, juices, and tomato paste. The variety is characterized by high yield and good fruit storability.

Sleeping Giant is resistant to major tomato diseases, simplifying care and increasing cultivation reliability. Seeds retain germination for up to 10 years under proper storage conditions. This variety is a 2014 selection novelty and is popular among lovers of juicy and aromatic tomatoes.
