Purple Heart

The tomato 'Purple Heart' is a medium-maturing variety with a fruiting period of about 110–115 days from germination. Plants reach a height of approximately 1.8 meters and are semi-determinate, ensuring vigorous growth and high yields both in open ground and under cover. The first flowering node forms above the 6th–7th leaf, and subsequent nodes appear every two leaves. It is recommended to train the plant into one or two stems with mandatory tying of clusters for optimal growth and fruiting. The tomatoes have large, heart-shaped fruits with an attractive purplish-pink color. Each fruit weighs between 200 and 350 grams, featuring a juicy texture and sweet, balanced flavor. These tomatoes are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. The plants exhibit high resistance to common tomato diseases and stress conditions, making this variety a reliable choice for various climates. 'Purple Heart' is characterized by high yield — over 25 kg per square meter under cover and 18–20 kg in open ground.
