Tomato RED FRIGATE

Tomato 'Red Frigate' is an early-maturing indeterminate hybrid, suitable for cultivation in greenhouses, polyethylene and glasshouses, as well as in open ground. The time from germination to the beginning of fruit ripening is 90 to 110 days, allowing for a relatively quick harvest. The plant is tall, forms numerous clusters with 5 to 7 fruits per cluster. Fruits are oval or slightly elongated, bright red, weighing about 100-110 grams, with dense flesh, few seeds, aroma, and excellent taste. The hybrid is characterized by high yield, which can reach up to 4 kilograms per plant with proper agronomy. It is resistant to temperature fluctuations and several diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiasis, and fusarium wilt, and is not prone to fruit cracking. The plant requires minimal care, but regular pruning is necessary for optimal growth and fruiting. The plant height in greenhouses reaches 120-130 cm, and pinching is not mandatory. Tomato 'Red Frigate' is versatile: fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for canning, pickling, and making various tomato products such as thick juices, lecho, ketchup, and tomato paste. Due to its taste qualities and dense structure, this variety is an excellent choice for both home cultivation and commercial production.
