Description
Tomato Ostrovok — an early-maturing, high-yielding variety, intended for cultivation in greenhouse conditions. The period from germination to the onset of fruiting is approximately 100 days. The plant is tall and requires mandatory staking for proper formation and support of fruit clusters.
The fruits of tomato Ostrovok are round, smooth, and firm, weighing from 120 to 140 grams. Each cluster forms 6 to 9 fruits, ensuring high yield. In technical ripeness, the fruits have a light green color without spots, while in biological ripeness, they exhibit a rich, intense red color. Due to excellent fruit set and large clusters, this variety is suitable for fresh consumption.
A distinctive feature of tomato Ostrovok is its resistance to several diseases and stress conditions. The variety shows high resistance to tomato mosaic virus (TMV), cladosporiosis, and fusarium wilt, significantly simplifying care and enhancing crop stability. These qualities make tomato Ostrovok an excellent choice for greenhouse cultivation.
