Tomato MAYSKY — an ultraprecocious determinate variety, intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic greenhouses. Plants are bushy, 40-50 cm tall, which facilitates care and harvesting. The maturation period is 90-95 days, allowing for an early harvest. The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 3-4 kg per square meter, as well as uniform fruiting.
The fruits of MAYSKY tomato are flat-round, smooth, red, weighing 60-80 grams. They are dense, meaty, do not crack, and have excellent taste qualities. Due to higher carotene content, the fruits are not only tasty but also nutritious. The tomato is versatile in use: it is used fresh, for pickling, canning, and processing into tomato products. The fruits have high transportability and storability, making the variety attractive for commercial cultivation.
Growing this variety requires adherence to certain agronomic practices. Sowing for seedlings is done in March, planting seeds 1-1.5 cm deep into moist soil. Seedlings are thinned at the stage of the first true leaves, and at 50 days old, seedlings are transplanted into open ground or greenhouses. For optimal growth, recommend infrequent but abundant root watering, 4-5 feedings per season, as well as loosening and hilling. To prevent phytophthora, treat with chemicals every 10 days. The variety has comprehensive resistance to diseases, including blossom end rot, which contributes to a stable and high-quality harvest.
