Tomato KATY ROSE

Prioritizing Large Fruit Size and Marketability

French breeding from Clause continues to set standards for professional vegetable production. The indeterminate hybrid "Katy Rose" is a solution for those focusing on the premium fresh market who refuse to compromise on yield or logistics. With a documented output of 130–160 tons per hectare, this variety meets the needs of large farming operations for stable and predictable results.

Growing Scenarios and Agronomy

This tomato fits perfectly into greenhouse production cycles. Thanks to its indeterminate growth type, the plant requires proper pruning and staking, responding with active fruit set throughout the season. The maturity period of up to 90 days allows for efficient production scheduling and continuous market supply.

• Fruit Handling: The flat-round and round shape, with an average weight exceeding 200 grams, establishes this tomato as a leader in the pink-red segment.
• Loss Prevention: Genetic resistance to blossom-end rot eliminates a major agronomist concern regarding the loss of market quality during the ripening stage.
• Logistical Potential: Excellent transportability and the ability to maintain freshness for over 30 days make it ideal for retail chains with strict shelf-life requirements.

Choosing "Katy Rose" is an investment in market-grade yield. Farmers adopting this hybrid gain the capability to deliver high-quality produce without the risk of rapid spoilage during transport or warehouse storage.
