MARZIPAN

Tomato variety Marzipan is an indeterminate medium-maturing variety with plant height of about 1.9 meters. The plants are strong and well-branched, allowing them to be grown as single to triple stems. Fruits form in clusters of 3-5, with no small tomatoes, indicating even fruit set. The variety shows good fruiting ability both in partial shade and on well-lit, hot plots, ensuring stable fruiting until frost. Marzipan tomato fruits have round and slightly flattened-round shapes with slight ribbing on the shoulders. Their weight ranges from 300 to 450 grams, sometimes reaching up to 700 grams. Visually, the tomatoes are bi-colored: on an orange background, there are raspberry-colored streaks radiating from the top. The inner part of the fruit is honey-colored, while more mature fruits have a raspberry-colored core. Such color and shape give the tomatoes an attractive appearance. The main feature of the variety is its rich, sweet flavor reminiscent of candy, making it especially appealing to lovers of sweet tomatoes. Due to its high yield and adaptability to various growing conditions, Marzipan tomato is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. This variety, presumably originating from Germany, combines decorative qualities with excellent taste characteristics.
