Elf

The Elf tomato is an early-maturing, high-yielding variety characterized by a prolonged fruiting period. Plants reach a height of about 1.6 meters and feature slender, strong stems with long internodes. Fruits form in both simple and complex clusters, each containing 10 to 20 tear-shaped tomatoes weighing 15-20 grams. Fruit color ranges from pink to red, with firm walls, resistance to cracking, and retention of quality until frost. The taste of Elf tomatoes is distinctly sweet and rich, making them excellent for fresh consumption. Due to their dense structure, this variety is also ideal for canning, drying, sun-drying, and freezing. Plants require mandatory staking and pruning, as they actively produce suckers at all levels of the bush, which promotes higher yields and plant health. Developed in 2015, the Elf variety exhibits resistance to diseases such as cladosporiosis, fusarium wilt, and tobacco mosaic virus. Suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses, its yield reaches 5.2 kg per square meter.
