Description
Tomato Tivay 12 (F1) is an early-maturing indeterminate hybrid, suitable for cultivation in plastic and glass greenhouses. The plant is tall and compact, with light green leaves and a simple flower structure. This variety is successfully used in winter-spring and summer-autumn rotations, making it versatile for various climatic conditions and seasons.
The fruits of tomato Tivay 12 have a flat-round shape, pink color at maturity, and light green color when immature. They are juicy, succulent, and sweet, weighing between 170 to 220 grams, making them ideal for salads and fresh consumption. The fruits have a marketable flavor and a slightly ribbed surface, enhancing their appeal on the market.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, fusarium wilt, and other common tomato diseases. This ensures stable yields, reaching approximately 11.8 kg per square meter. Tomato Tivay 12 requires regular purchase of seeds, typical for hybrid varieties, and is an excellent choice for professional and amateur cultivation in greenhouse conditions.
