Description
Tomato variety 'Poplavok' is an early-maturing and high-yielding variety, suitable for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. The period from seedling emergence to the start of fruiting is 101-110 days. Plants are determinate, compact, and 40-50 cm tall, which facilitates care and harvest.
The tomatoes are cylindrical, smooth, thick-walled, and fleshy, weighing 50-70 grams. They have an excellent flavor with a slight acidity, making them versatile for various uses. The variety is ideal for fresh consumption, making thick tomato paste, and whole-fruit canning.
'Poplavok' is distinguished by its high fruit quality and fruit durability, ensuring good storage and transportability. Additionally, the variety is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) and phytophthora, contributing to stable yields of 6-7 kg per square meter.
