Tomato L'vovich is an ultraprecocious indeterminate hybrid, primarily intended for cultivation in plastic and glass-covered greenhouses. The plants are tall and robust, reaching over two meters in height, with strong stems and medium-sized green leaves. For successful growth and fruit formation, mandatory support of the plants is required. The fruit ripens within 59–65 days after transplanting seedlings, enabling harvest during late summer and autumn. Suitable for both home gardens and large-scale farms, it provides high yields up to 13 kg per square meter.
The fruits of tomato L'vovich have a flat-round, medium-ribbed shape, weighing between 180 to 250 grams. Their flesh is dense and succulent, with a tangy-sweet flavor and pleasant aftertaste, while the skin is smooth and resistant to cracking. The color of ripe fruits ranges from deep raspberry to pink hues. Each cluster forms 4 to 5 large fruits, promoting uniform ripening and ease of harvest. Due to good storability and transportability, the fruits retain their quality during transit and storage.
The variety exhibits moderate resistance to several diseases: it is susceptible to phytophthora, cladosporiosis, verticillium wilt, tobacco mosaic virus, and fusarium wilt to a lesser extent. Plants are sensitive to rapid temperature fluctuations and temperatures dropping to 5 degrees, which may slow growth and increase disease risk. To achieve maximum yield, optimal growing conditions must be maintained and seedlings should be transplanted into the ground in accordance with regional climatic conditions.
