Tomato L'Vovich

Reliable Yields of Large-Fruited Tomatoes

The «Lvovich» tomato variety, developed by Ooo Global Sids, is designed for commercial producers focusing on high-quality, large-sized fresh market produce. This indeterminate variety produces fruits exceeding 200 grams with a distinct flat-round shape. With yields ranging from 70 to 100 tons per hectare, it serves as a robust solution for intensive farming operations.

Cultivation and Market Efficiency

With a maturation period of up to 90 days, «Lvovich» allows farmers to capture early-season market demand. The plants require trellis support, which is standard for indeterminate varieties, but the investment is rewarded by heavy cluster production. Beyond yield, the variety is prized for its excellent transportability, ensuring that the pink and red fruits arrive in retail chains in perfect condition, maintaining profitability throughout the supply chain.

Advanced Phytosanitary Resistance

The genetic development led by the Ooo Global Sids team, specifically D. S. Gladkov and A. N. Semyonova, has resulted in a variety with formidable pathogen resistance. By choosing «Lvovich», producers can significantly reduce reliance on aggressive chemical fungicide applications, thanks to its inherent tolerance to:

• Soil-borne diseases: Verticillium wilt and Fusarium wilt;
• Fungal leaf diseases: Cladosporiosis (Leaf mold);
• Viral infections: Tomato Mosaic Virus and other viral mosaics;
• Late blight (Phytophthora infestans).

«Lvovich» from Ooo Global Sids is engineered for predictable performance under greenhouse conditions. It provides the stability necessary for consistent business planning, minimizing crop losses due to disease pressure and ensuring a high percentage of marketable, premium-grade fruit.
