Lettuce DIONYS

The Dionys salad is a highly productive mid-season variety that ripens within 32-35 days after seedling emergence. It was developed by breeders R. A. Komarova and S. M. Strikunova and is characterized by high resistance to bolting, ensuring a stable yield and minimal labor requirements for cultivation. This variety is versatile in terms of growing conditions: it thrives both in sunny areas and in partial shade, allowing for successful cultivation in various climatic zones.

The plants form a semi-upright rosette with elongated-elliptic whole green leaves with smooth edges. The weight of one head ranges from 200 to 234 grams, while the average yield reaches 4.1 kg per square meter. The salad leaves have a tender oily texture and excellent taste, making them ideal for fresh consumption, for example, in salads and other dishes.

The Dionys salad is an excellent choice for gardeners aiming to obtain a high-quality and tasty product with minimal effort. Thanks to its bolting resistance and adaptability to different growing conditions, this variety ensures a stable and abundant yield, making it indispensable in the garden.
