Assol

Tomato Assol is an early variety with a fruit maturation period of about 95 days after emergence of seedlings. The plants of this variety are tall, reaching heights of 2 to 3 meters, and have an indeterminate growth habit. The tomato fruits are flat-round, medium-sized, weighing about 100 grams, with a bright orange-yellow color and a unique mandarin aroma, giving them an attractive decorative appearance. Immature fruits are light green, while ripe fruits develop a rich orange color. Each cluster forms 5–7 evenly spaced fruits, which can be harvested together with the cluster, allowing them to remain fresh for up to two months.

The variety is distinguished by high resistance to a range of diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis (brown spot), phytophthora blight, and fusarium wilt. Thanks to these qualities, Tomato Assol is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings or in greenhouses. For successful cultivation in open ground, it is recommended to tie plants to stakes and pinch off the tips to form bushy plants.

Tomato Assol is widely used fresh due to its excellent taste and unusual aroma. Additionally, the fruits are suitable for canning, juice production, ketchup, and tomato paste. The high market yield of this variety reaches 12.2 kg per square meter, making it attractive for gardeners and farmers seeking high-quality and flavorful harvests.
