The tomato 'Golden Andromeda' is an early-maturing determinate hybrid, designed for early harvests both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. Fruit maturity period ranges from 80 to 107 days depending on growing conditions. The plant is compact, up to 80 cm tall, with simple inflorescences emerging above the 5th-6th leaf and bearing 5-7 fruits. For optimal growth, cultivation in 1-2 stems with mandatory support and pinching is recommended; when planted in the ground, space 3 plants per 1 sq. m. Tomato fruits have round or flat-round shape with uniform golden-yellow or golden-orange coloration without green spot at the stem attachment. Fruit weight varies from 64 to 130 grams, they are dense, even, and possess high taste qualities with high vitamin content. Thanks to good marketability and high transportability, fruits retain attractive appearance and quality during transport and storage. Yield of this variety is high: in open ground, it reaches 6-7 kg per 1 sq. m (or 65-70 tons per hectare), and in plastic greenhouses — 9-13 kg per 1 sq. m. The variety is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus and can withstand extreme weather conditions, making it a reliable choice for various climatic zones.
