Tomato Cartridge is a medium-early determinate hybrid of Russian breeding, intended primarily for cultivation in protected ground, including plastic covers. Fruit ripening occurs 117-120 days after full emergence. Plants have medium-sized dark green leaves and simple inflorescences. Fruits are flat-round in shape, slightly ribbed, colored in rich red or orange-red at full ripening, with each fruit weighing 130-145 grams. Fruits have four or more locules, contributing to good taste and commercial quality. The Cartridge hybrid is characterized by high yield — up to 7.4-8.0 kg per square meter, and at a planting density of 3.2 plants per square meter, yield per plant is 3.2-3.5 kg. Fruits have a firm structure, ensuring durability and storability, allowing them to retain commercial quality at room temperature for up to three months. Due to excellent taste and versatility, tomatoes are suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and salad preparation. Cartridge is resistant to several diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, fusarium, and cladosporiasis, significantly simplifying care and enhancing yield stability. For successful cultivation, sow seedlings in mid-March, transplanting at the 1-2 true leaf stage, with fertilization and hardening off before transplanting. Seedlings are planted under plastic cover in mid-May or directly into open ground in early June, with plants forming 1-2 stems and mandatory removal of lateral shoots. Regular watering, weeding, loosening, and fertilization promote healthy and productive plants.
