Tomato MADRID

Tomato Madrid F1 is a mid-early indeterminate hybrid developed by the French company Clause Seeds for cultivation primarily under cover. The vegetation period is 65-70 days from seedling transplanting, allowing for two harvests per season. The plant features vigorous growth, strong foliage, and a well-developed root system, providing high resistance to a range of diseases, including Fusarium and Verticillium wilt, tomato mosaic virus, tomato leaf curl virus, bacterial spot, and late blight. This resistance ensures high productivity even under stressful growing conditions. The fruits of tomato Madrid F1 are large, heart-shaped, with an attractive bicolor coloring transitioning from lemon and deep yellow to red. Fruit weight typically ranges from 350-400 grams, though some specimens may reach 700 grams. The tomatoes are multi-chambered, meaty with few seeds, lacking green spots or white core on cut surfaces. Their flesh is juicy, sweet with a mild acidity, offering a balanced flavor and making them suitable for both fresh consumption and processing into tomato products such as pasta and juice. Hybrid Madrid F1 boasts high yield and fruit quality, with fruits well-suited for transport, making it popular for fresh markets and culinary use. Thanks to its unique appearance, excellent taste, and disease resistance, this tomato is an excellent choice for professional growers and enthusiasts seeking quality and consistent harvests.
