Plant Architecture and Vegetative Cycle

The «Spektr» variety is a result of selective breeding by the Transcarpathian Institute of Agro-Industrial Production (UAAS), specifically optimized for regional climatic conditions. The genetic potential of this cultivar ensures a plant height within the 120–150 cm range. This height is optimal for biomass accumulation: it facilitates efficient nutrient distribution without excessive shading of lower leaf tiers, which is critical for uniform leaf maturation.

Biochemical Profile

The primary technical advantage of this variety is the intensity of its aromatic characteristics. The rich profile is driven by the plant's metabolic activity during the period of technical maturity. Classified as a mid-season variety, «Spektr» offers agronomists flexibility in harvesting logistics; the growth cycle allows the crop to avoid peak seasonal heat stress, thereby preserving the integrity of aromatic compounds within the leaf tissue.

Technical Cultivation Notes

The technical value of «Spektr» lies in its developmental consistency. Maintaining a stature between 120–150 cm simplifies mechanized field management and harvesting operations. When proper agrotechnical protocols are followed, the variety demonstrates resilience against moisture fluctuations, a key factor in maintaining the purity and consistency of the final product's aroma. This cultivar requires precise post-harvest fermentation management, as its naturally complex composition benefits significantly from careful processing.
