Feed Beet Olzhich

Optimizing Forage Efficiency: The «Olzhych» Advantage

Fodder beet «Olzhych» from VNIS represents a breakthrough in Ukrainian breeding, focusing on practical yield and harvest efficiency. Developed by the Ukrainian Scientific Institute of Plant Breeding, this variety is tailored for farmers who value both nutritional density and mechanized farming processes.

Why «Olzhych» Stands Out

• Mechanization-Friendly Design: The distinct cylindrical shape is the core strength of this variety. It allows for shallower soil penetration, which ensures efficient mechanical harvesting with significantly reduced soil contamination and lower harvest-related damage to the root crop.
• Storage and Processing Capabilities: Unlike soft, high-water varieties, «Olzhych» features a dense structure. This physical robustness makes it an ideal candidate for long-term storage and industrial processing, ensuring that the nutritional value remains intact throughout the winter season.
• Regional Adaptation: Breeding work conducted by Myroslav and Yaroslav Parii ensures high adaptability to the local climate, providing stability against environmental stressors that often plague non-local varieties.

Who Should Choose «Olzhych»?

This variety is the optimal solution for livestock operations looking to optimize their feed supply chains. If your priority is a high-yield crop that integrates seamlessly with mechanical harvesting equipment and can be reliably processed into winter feed, «Olzhych» is a strategic investment. It performs best under balanced soil conditions and rewards growers who apply sound fertilization management. By choosing this VNIS variety, producers benefit from a product that balances advanced scientific selection with the day-to-day realities of modern agriculture.
