Table Beet CRIMSON CYLINDER

Reliable harvest for processing and long-term storage

The "Bagryany Cylinder" beetroot from Agrofirma Poisk has established a strong presence in the market for professional vegetable crops, specifically designed for farms and agricultural enterprises with their own processing facilities. The selection work of Nikolay Klimenko and Sergey Maksimov resulted in a root crop that effectively combines the ease of mechanical harvesting with high marketability.

Technical Profile

• Vegetation period: 110–120 days, classifying the variety as mid-season.
• Root geometry: The distinct cylindrical shape simplifies cutting for industrial production of salads, preserves, and dehydrated products.
• Color: Deep dark red color without visible light rings, which is critical for final product quality.
• Purpose: Breeding efforts focused on shelf life during long-term storage, allowing for winter sales without losing flavor or physical integrity.

In the market, the "Bagryany Cylinder" is valued for its predictability. For agricultural producers, this translates into a uniform harvest suitable for extended storage in warehouse facilities. The dense structure of the root reduces the risk of damage during transportation, improving logistics from the field to the retail shelf or processing facility.
