Description AURICA
Aurica is an early hybrid sweet corn distinguished by its rapid maturity and high yield quality. From germination to technical maturity takes 76-80 days, allowing fresh cobs to be obtained in a short time. The plant forms mainly two cobs that mature simultaneously. Each cob has a length of about 20 cm and a diameter of up to 4.5 cm, featuring a weak conical shape with a well-defined tip. The mass of one cob is approximately 200 grams.

The Aurica corn grain is large, yellow in color, with a tender sweet consistency, ensuring high taste qualities. This hybrid is intended for fresh cob consumption and is also excellent for canning and freezing. Corn is recommended for use during the milk ripening stage, as delaying harvest causes sugar content in the grain to quickly decrease, deteriorating the product quality.

The hybrid possesses good resistance to major diseases such as smut and helminthosporiosis, contributing to stable and high-quality harvests. Thanks to its characteristics, Aurica is an excellent choice for cultivation in both private holdings and commercial production, providing an early and tasty sweet corn harvest.
