Sweet Corn CN 206 S

Focus on Stability and Flavor

The SН 206 C sweet corn from the breeder Nadezhda Gor (Krasnodar) represents a classic approach to plant breeding, focused on predictable yields within varying climatic conditions. Unlike many imported hybrids that require specific, near-perfect growing environments, this variety demonstrates high plasticity and adaptability to soil variations.

Agrotechnical Insights

The key factor for a successful harvest is strict adherence to sowing density. The recommended planting density is 50,000–60,000 plants per hectare. This specific range is chosen to ensure optimal light interception and nutrient availability, which are essential for developing well-filled ears with the superior flavor profile typical of high-quality sweet corn.

• Strengths: Strong tolerance to temperature fluctuations, consistent grain quality, and predictable development across different vegetative stages.
• Limitations: Requires precise plant spacing; excessive density can negatively impact ear weight and kernel development.

This variety is an excellent choice for farming operations looking to mitigate risks while securing a product that meets standard market expectations for fresh sales or processing. The SН 206 C is a reliable choice for growers who prioritize production discipline and proven, locally-adapted genetics.
